Due to the pandemic and the current 31/2021. (VII. 7.) EMMI decree, it is mandatory to wear a mask in our Clinics. Masks are available for purchase at our receptions for a fee of HUF 200.

In accordance with legal regulations, we must provide data to the EESZT*. All Hungarian citizens are required to provide their TAJ* and, to protect their data, a credible proof of their identification - in the absence of these, we are unable to provide any services. For non-Hungarian citizens, who do not have a TAJ number, the number of their travel document or European Health Insurance Card will be recorded.

X-ray exam preparations:

General x-ray examination is not available for children under the age of 4.

X-ray examinations require no preparation, eating and drinking is allowed and our patients can take their medicines too. The patient will be asked to remove any clothing or jewelry (necklace, earrings, watches, piercing, etc.) which might interfere with the exposure of the body area to be examined. To avoid blurred images, the patient must be very still.

Preparation for abdominal ultrasound examination:

fasting for 6 hours before the test,
that day, only non-carbonated water may be consumed before the test,
fluid intake is mandatory because a full bladder is required for the test,
the bladder should be emptied 2-3 hours before the test,
avoid food that causes bloating the day before the ultrasound examination,
remove any piercing or other body jewelry from the abdomen before the test

Other useful information:

- Consumption of coffee, milk, fibrous or sugary soft drinks, smoking, chewing gum causes intestinal flatulence and gallbladder emptying, which may lead to failed results.

- The ultrasound scan is completely painless!
